Finance Apprenticeships like many apprenticeships, are not spoken about when looking at future careers, however, finance apprenticeships are one of the most versatile and accessible apprenticeships. With a variety of levels, finance apprenticeships have a wide range of courses to meet the requirements of all age groups, and are a brilliant stepping-stone to working for a large financial firm.

Why should you do a Finance apprenticeship?
As for all apprenticeships, you will be able to gain both qualifications, experience in the field and a salary. This makes it very desirable for proactive people who want to put their foot in the deep end and make a real difference in the real world (not stuck at university accumulating thousands of pounds worth of debt).
Obviously, having an interest in finance will be a great driving factor for you choosing a finance apprenticeship, however, if your not too sure on where is finance is the correct path for you, I have listed a couple example of what someone who may be interested in finance may have interest wise or characteristic wise:
Inquisitive and wanting to learn
Interested in Economics
Interested in Business
Interested in Maths
You’re a natural problem solver
You are resilient and don't shy away from a difficult situation
You are hard working
Those are some of the characteristics you may have or require if you are debating on joining a finance apprenticeship, however, when all is said and done, it is your personal choice on whether you want to do a finance apprenticeship. Whether its been a childhood dream of yours or you just want to have a go in the sector, there is no better way than starting your finance career than with an apprenticeship.
Salary
According to UCAS, the average salary of an apprentice in the finance sector is around the £22,645 mark. This is very competitive in comparison to other apprenticeships available in other sectors.
What will you require?
It varies depending on the level, a level 2 finance apprenticeship is unlikely to ask applicants for any sort of qualification, however anything above that may require GCSE Maths and English and or 3 A Levels ideally including one or more of the following: Mathematics, Business Studies or Economics
